I am a photographer based in Syracuse, NY. I specialize in 360 degree panoramic landscapes, and have two ongoing series utilizing the format. Unlikely Landscapes is of specific geographic points around the country such as state high points, tri-state points, cardinal extremes, and other points. I am fascinated at how these otherwise insignificant locations take on a certain meaning because of the human borders that created them. See my artist statement for more info about that series. This Land features panoramas from my visits to our National Parks. I use my 360˚ format to showcase not only the stunning landscapes in our national parks, but also points of historic interest.

I earned my associate's degree in photography from Onondaga Community College, and my bachelor's degree from SUNY Empire State College. In 2012 I won the prestigious Thayer Fellowship, a SUNY-wide, multi-art discipline competition among graduate and undergraduate students in the arts.

I have over 25 years working in the photography field. At NASA Johnson Space Center I was a lab tech working on imaging projects for the nation's space flight program. At Light Work (part of Syracuse University) and Onondaga Community College, I worked in collegiate photography programs where I worked heavily with students and artists. In addition, I have worked independently as a photographer and private photo tutor.  I also have ten years experience teaching community classes in Photoshop at Light Work.

Other interests in photography include shooting rock concerts, travel photography, model photography, and designing home made light fixtures and other photographic gizmos.
